"People Over Profits"
More than a phrase. A code of honor.
This reproduction remembers the Workers' Party and the labor strikes and walkouts that shook the Industrial District.
As automated systems began replacing the people who kept the district running, workers watched entire trades disappear. The Party stood beside them. From the power lines to the waterworks, their message was simple:
People over profits.
We all sacrificed during those years. Some more than others.
The phrase became bigger than any single strike. When one bad policy could change an entire industry, and the people at the top refused to stand for those beneath them, somebody had to.
In the Industrial District, a mistake could cost more than a paycheck. A bad cut on the lathe. A misstep pulling live power. The corporations counted lost production. The workers counted names.
So the Workers' Party fought to keep the unions fair, the jobs safe, and the people protected.
They took care of their own.
The strikes eventually ended. The signs came down. The crowds disappeared from the streets.
But the words remained.
The Fade wants you to forget. So do the people at the top who benefited when everyone stopped paying attention.
We haven't forgotten.
The Party made the sacrifice.
We echo their words.
